Anjali Bidani has tried on more than a few careers for size, and thinks her diversity of experience, while not always appreciated by human resources, makes her able to take on the world in a way that few of her peers, who have "stayed in their lanes" since high school, can. Anjali graduated from Northwestern with a double degree in Psychology and Cognitive Science, with a concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience. She also produced and stage managed a number of large theater productions on campus, both with the theater department and with student companies. It was this experience that led her to follow the path of freelance stage management for ten years, starting with a fellowship at Arena Stage in Washington D.C. and culminating in stage managing for the Chicago run of Wicked. For the next eleven years of her life, she worked in finance - first as an executive assistant/office manager/portfolio research assistant for a High Net Worth individual who ran several fund of funds, and most recently as a Senior Associate for a Private Equity Placement Agent. She was a Registered Representative, certified as an Investment Advisor through FINRA, the policing organization of the SEC. For her next chapter, she is planning to earn a Masters in Organizational Psychology, a field which focuses on increasing workplace productivity and related issues such as the physical and mental well-being of employees.
